I just listened to this excellent and positive interview from April 10, 2007 with Dr. Sarno by Dr. Ronald Hoffman about his new book, The Divided Mind: The Epidemic of Mindbody Disorders, on Health Talk, WOR 710 in New York. It's a very positive interview, and well worth listening to. It's about 35 minutes long and can be heard at:

http://podcast.wor710.com/wor/384249.mp3

Enjoy!

Ralph

Use the search function, plugging in your email address. There are still 3 threads left containing it.

I'm very glad to hear your dog is doing better, by the way. Best of luck.

Karen, yes I emailed the file to you last night and it didn't bounce, so you should have it. The only thread I am aware of where you show your email address is this one about three posts up ;)

Hope your doggie is doing better!

Woodchuck (Ken)

EDIT: I see you already edited it out...good!

Karen,

I will see what I can do tonight. Will try for sure to get it to you this weekend. I don't recall how big the file is. I do recall it took awhile to download with dialup. I will send you an email in advance befor I try to send it. BTW, I edited out your email address in my reply. Unless you don't mind that email address being spammed, you might edit it out of your respose.

Keep cool and the best of luck with your doggie!

Woodchuck

P.S. - hotmail may have file-size limitations below the size of this file, but we'll give it a shot and see what happens.

EDIT: I have it on my cellphone. It is 8.3 megs. I think hotmail should be able to accept it.

'save as' to the hard drive..Anything to do with Quick Time screws up the whole system..I am not good on computers but I have been able to watch video footage on here of the Scott Brady workshop..Is there another way to send this so that I can see it or anyone else having the same problem as well...
I really want to see/listen to this..
Thanx,
Karen

Hi Karen,

Hmm? If I recall, this is a regular MP3 file. I actually have it on my MP3 player, so it should not require Quicktime. Are you on a Mac or a PC (I always assume a PC)? If a PC, after downloading the file, right-click on it and select "open with" and you might see a player other than Quicktime to choose from. (I just re-read the above.....you were not even able to download it to your hard drive with the right-click method? I could email it to you, but I have dialup and it would take forever and I'm not home now anyway. I could try that late tonight if we can find a way to swap emails easily. But, right-click, "save as", "save link as" or "save file as"....one of those choices should work to get it on your hard drive.)

thanx, I do have windows media player. Is there anything else I have to do other than click on the link? Because when I do a window pops up and looks like its gonna play the podcast, but then just says "done" or "error on page" in the lower left hand corner. What am I missing?

Try "right-clicking" on the link with your mouse and choose "save link as" (or something to that effect) and it should save the file to your hard drive. After the file is downloaded, locate it on your hard drive and double-click on it and it should begin to play.

Hey Skizzik, were you ever able to link to this interview? Did you solve the problem? Just wondering...

Ralph,
Thank you for the post! Love hearing the "good doctor" alive and in person. As I am a school nurse I had the students in my office listening along with me this morning to the interview. Made for some lively discussion and many questions!

I don't know why the link isn't working for you. What operating system are you using? Do you have a program that can handle .mp3 files, which are common sound files, such as Windows Media Player?

Best,
Ralph

link isn't working for me, any other way to get this?

This is an AWESOME interview. Sarno is terrific! I wish he could go on NPR's People's Pharmacy and talk about this.

Thanks so much for sharing.
