Greetings,

As a newcomer to this forum I've been following the program for about 7 weeks and just today realized how helpful this site might be for its wisedom, encouragement and advice. I have two questions.
A) Has anyone had success with TMS related to hip difficulties. I was originally diagnosed with an arthritic hip and recommened for hip replacement surgery. I'm trying to purge the xray images from my mind
s eye. Anyone have or heard of experiences with hips?
B)Rumor has it there's a psychotherapist out there somewhere who does phone work with people following this program and is totally up on Sarno and dealing with rage. Anyone know of this person or have contact info. for them?
Thanks muchly.

-David

Really? I should have TONS of cartilage then because I am/was active (running, walking, aerobics, biking) but my left hip is bone-on-bone and I'm having it replaced on May 25. I'm only 48. The reason mine deteriorated was a birth defect, developmental dysplasia. Doing Sarno got rid of MOST of the pain throughout my body, but I could never get this pain to go away. It is structural, and I'm moving forward so I can move on with my life.

I saw my xrays too, but sometimes things ARE structural. I have felt better emotionally, since deciding to do the surgery. My hip still hurts, some days more than others, but I'm biking like a mad woman, lifting weights and doing other stuff. I even hope to run when this is over.

One of the members here with hip issues is Tennis Tom, so you might be interested in reading through some of his posts. And if you search on the word hip or arthritis you'll probably find some posts that could be useful.

Welcome to the forum!

Why yes, I did have hip Issues. I just started doing stuff, and it went away. Of course, Lots of Sarno work preceeded this.

I would get a hold of Don Dubin. Do a search in this forum, and you'll find his contact info.
