I solve my problems and I see the light
We gotta plug and think, we gotta feed it right
There ain't no danger we can go to far
We start believing now that we can be who we are

I was thinking along those lines today. I was happy today and I had a therapy appointment. I found myself thinking, hey, I don't wanna go into those scary depths today while I'm happy. Then I thought that maybe I could do some productive exploring of what things help me feel happy. As it turns out the session was kind of a mix, but I was glad I thought about being able to use happiness to help me get more happy.

Bringing postive and uplifiting things into your life- art, music, literature, uplifting movies and books, good friends, tastey food, fun recreational activities, etc, will produce good biochemistry in your body and will go along way towards personal healing. Stay away from the news, depressing books and movies, negative people or any other thing that tends to drag down your spirits. I recommned the reading Nancy Selfridge's book titled "Freedom From Fibromyalgia" as she recommends all this- and much more- as a path to recovery from TMS.

"My general formula for my students is "Follow your bliss." Find where it is, and don't be afraid to follow it." --Joseph Campbell, The Power of Myth, pp. 120, 149

hmmm...thanks for giving me something new to consider shawn. I've usually considered Barbara Streisand a bearer of creepy vibes, but this is pretty "feel good." I approached it with an open mind.

:)
