A friend of mine was just diagnosed with this disease. TMS equivalent? Anyone know?

There's a lot of research out there on thyroid problems and diet. Might do good to have your friend research thyroid and diet. Iodine is important...there are some other things that are important...seems I recently read that even hashimoto's can be remedied through diet rather than chemicals...but don't take my word for it...RESEARCH.

I am not familiar with this disease, but based on some quick research, it does not seem like TMS.

While I believe emotions can play a role in any autoimmune disorder, I would be hesitant to say this disorder is entirely psychogenic.

Regardless of the root cause, hypothyroidism is a serious disorder that requires treatment and should not be considered a TMS equivalent.
