Owwww. I overstretched my back this morning doing yoga. I took a walk today in the park so it is not that bad. I guess I am learning the boundaries of my body. I need to slow down about this healing business! Any advice or comforting thoughts?

Well take heart in knowing that the real pain will dissipate in a day or two. If it doesn't and lingers on and on, you can assume its TMS. It isn't likely you caused some major structural damage by over stretching.

My neck has been hurting for the last week. I know it's TMS due to some current stresses that are triggering past emotional wounds. Yesterday I carried a heavy bag a good long way and woke up with my neck feeling worse. I am due to go out for the day again today and am a bit reluctant for various reasons other than my pain. How convenient it would be to use the pain as an excuse not to go. So I am determined to go despite it all. I want to live my life, not hide out from it. Hey, this could be my new affirmation!
