I have just tried to post a lengthy reply to Ensoul and I got a connection failure message. This is a problem with my ISP, but is there anyway that a reply can be saved for later then re-sent? My computer is an iMac.

If you lose your connection, the site cannot save your message. However, if you press the BACK button, your message should be intact.

When composing long messages you may find it useful to use an editor such as Notepad, or compose it as an E-mail message to yourself, and then copy/paste the text into the site.
