Hello Everyone;

Can we align our mental and emotional energy to help end pain cycles and reverse a physical pain disorder caused by psychological factors?

Alignment: the act of aligning or state of being aligned, to be in or come into precise adjustment or correct relative position.
Just as your car runs more efficiently and requires less energy to go faster when the wheels are in perfect alignment, your body performs better when your thoughts, feelings and emotions are aligned and in balance. Aligning your personality and attitudes to be more open and flexible is a great way to become more conscious of your emotional energy in your body and whether it is open and feeling good or stuck and painful.
It is helpful to realize that as you align the energy of your personality to be more open, flexible and balanced, simultaneously this same energy is in your body becoming more open and flexible and balanced!

How do we start aligning?
Let us first remember how we access the power to create. We create through the daily, moment-by-moment threads of our life being put into action. This is not wishful thinking or understanding it intellectually. This is creating alignment by putting our energy into practice with our actions—mental, emotional and physical. You have to experience it to get it!
Let’s start with an attitude that we can all identify with. “I'm going to make the best of it.” How many times have we said that to ourselves? Ask yourself, are you living your life under the attitude of "I am going to make the best of it”. Genuinely think about this and investigate if you have resigned yourself to "making the best of it"?
When we adopt this attitude, is it possible that we really are stating, "I don't like what is happening to my body or where I am or who I am but I'm going to put all of that aside and show the world I'm okay, I'm a fighter, I'm a survivor"?
This is a truly wonderful, disguising way to keep you in the pain and strategy of this pain syndrome.

We know that we cannot always change people or our circumstances, however you can always change the way emotional energy is being communicated and processed in your system.

How can we bring a shift in this "making the best of it" attitude that can serve us better? Try this adjustment in attitude.

It is my intention to “bring the best of me to this person or situation”. This is a phenomenal shift in attitude. When you can genuinely put yourself in this mental/emotional state you are accepting where you are-- I am where I am. I am where I am and it's okay because I'm here. It’s got to be okay because this is where I am and this is where I must start from to begin change.
When you choose to ask, how can I bring the best of me versus I’m going to make the best of this, you are going internal first and evaluating your motivation or checking your intention before acting or reacting.

This internal evaluation is big, huge important. It can keep you from going into one of your conditioned, tension generating patterns like: worry, pleasing, controlling, striving, impressing, which we know are generating tension and repressing emotional energy and maintaining pain or other symptoms. Instead we now can deliberately choose how we are going to behave more openly, think a more flexible thought or respond in a more allowing way. How can I bring the best of me will always guide you to a more open, flexible and allowing pattern.
Try this. Take a situation or person that is causing you stress/tension. Look it over and openly state, “I’m going to make the best of this”. Where did this take you? How do you feel about it?
Take the same experience and now state, “I’m going to bring the best of me to this person/situation”. Now where are you? Do you notice the phenomenal shift in attitude?

Healing from this disorder and reversing the pain strategy is a living, daily discipline. The deeper your understanding and acceptance that tension induced pain is a chronic physical pain disorder caused by our daily moment-to-moment chronic behaviors and thoughts, the easier and more efficient your daily, disciplined practice will become. In fact it will no longer be a disciplined practice at all. It will simply become a choice. Do I allow myself to go into old conditioned chronic patterns that generate pain and discomfort or do I choose a more open, allowing and flexible pattern.

I hope you choose to adopt this change in attitude that can provide you big, huge relief. Bring the best of you to all your life situations and experience how this new alignment of mental, emotional and physical energy feels.

Stay the course,
