Wondering how you are, maybe you can post. I feel badly that you didn't get any other replies but I guess nobody can know...please let us know how you're doing. Hope it is indeed just a strain of some kind.

Personally, I'd go to an internist or general surgeon who operates on hernias and have them examine me, maybe do an ultrasound. I'm sure you know that a ruptured hernia can be dangerous so it's better to know for sure.
