I have an enlarged thyroid gland due to Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, which is an autoimmune thing I've had since I was 12. I've been on medication since then. Now I am determined to heal the thyroid gland so that I don't feel the annoying pressure in my throat and won't eventually have to have it surgically removed. I have been trying to find a healing technique and am having conflicts as to what to do. Should I treat it as tms, even though it isn't, yet the principal may work, or should I use visualization, or something else. I know this is a bold endeavor since all I hear is that I will be on this medication for the rest of my life. I have seen a specialist and had ultrasounds which showed little cysts on the gland (not worrisome, they say, just a result of the antibodies attacking the gland). My three goals are: 1. to shrink the gland to normal size 2. to make the cysts disappear 3. to get my brain to regulate my endocrine system so I won't need medication.
Like I said, I am determined, and I believe it can be done, I just need to figure out HOW. Any ideas on this kind of healing, or if anyone has a goiter, how do you feel? Did it shrink? |
