Kevin is riddled with TMS. Of course the broken hand wasn't due to TMS, it was due to him punching a wall. But the reason for both is the same: he is as perfectionistic as they come. It's just that by punching the wall, his rage came out instead of being held inside.
Brown admits his back pain is "day to day" and that there is no pattern. He's been on and off the disabled list his entire career.
It will be interesting to see how he performs tonight in the spotlight, in a position where his team REALLY needs him to succeed. It will be interesting if he gets past the first few innings without either leaving the game in pain, or due to poor performance. It will be fun to watch.

As a Red Sox fan, I can only hope Brown gets shelled like he did the last time he faced us. Maybe he'll kick a wall this time and break his foot instead.
Sorry, I just really hate the Yankees. |

I'm with you. I don't know whether I love the Red sox more than I hate the Yankees or hate the Yankees more than I love the Red SOx. |

Dave is completelly correct about brown...
I was listening to a pre-game interview, and he said that he hoped his back would hold up, etc... I have often felt that way when playing sports, like I hope I can get through this... (tms all the way)
Fortunately for YANKEE FANS he is pitching well into the 6th inning!!!

Kevin got through the game in great fashion, but in true TMS form, he came down with back spasms afterwards and, according to one reporter was in bad shape and "walking like a pretzel." His is one case that is hard to dispute. Too bad he will never be referred to Dr. Sarno... |

Can't wait to see how Brown's TMS treats him tonight. Talk about high pressure. Unfortunately, I can't sympathize with him tonight because I'm a Red Sox fan.
GO SOX!!! |
