Hi Guys,
Most of my symptoms of backpain/legpain are pretty well gone during the week. However, I notice an increase of symptoms on Sat./Sun.
Does anyone experience this?
I find it odd, as to me--I'm relaxing and what not on the weekends where as during the week it seems like my stress level would be higher....Hmm.

Ahhh, the weekend syndrome. Dr. Sarno writes about this. It is very common

As Shawn said, this is common. To elaborate, it ties in to repressed emotional issues having to do with perfectionism and extreme self motivation. While working, these traits are being satisfied, but at rest, they come rearing their ugly heads once again. You have to learn to recognize these traits for what they are...inherent parts of your personality. Once you so this, the weekend pain will take a permanent vacation. -Sensei

I would actually get tms symptoms on Sunday nights--when I knew 5 workdays were ahead of me. Finally did some writing on facing up to the fact: working is part of life and I needed an attitude adjustment. I no longer dread Sunday evenings.

Yeah, this is common. Some people find it to be the reverse, but others find an increase in symptoms when not at work. I have the vacation syndrome.
