Also don't rule out TMS as a component of the knee pain. It is certainly possible there is a structural issue there, such as if you had an injury, but TMS often attacks those spots to make the pain worse or more chronic.
It sounds like you have a good frame of mind. You are taking it day by day and do not have unrealistic expectations. You seem to have a long-term view, which is great.
Amy: Keep the process going. You are definitely on the right track. Persistence and consistency is what seems to work for me. Not fretting a bad day along the way. Just continuing the process knowing all along that you are doing what it takes to get results.
