It must be TMS. My symptoms change almost daily and sometimes symptoms change during the day. Interestingly I usually don't have more than 1 symptom at a time. When I get up in the morning, I find it interesting to see what TMS has for me for the day. Ankle, hip, hot foot or fatigue. The fatigue helps me sleep. I will still keep on going and trying to keep up on exercising. I am still slowly getting better. This all started about 6 months ago when I lost 2 very important friends in my life, one from a heart attack(54 years of age) and the other from cancer(71 years of age). Does this sound familiar to any of you who are ahead of me getting better? Any comments are welcome. MichaelB
I can imagine that losing friends takes an emotional toll on many levels.
My father has developed TMS symptoms such as sciatica when he has lost friends.
Dr. Sarno lists aging as a major contributor to unconscious rage, and the death of a friend or relative is a powerful reminder of our own mortality.
It seems you are accepting the symptoms as TMS and are making slow and steady progress, so stay the course and confront the hidden feelings you may be repressing.
