I think yes, and I've probably written about an acquaintance's experience with a faulty DX that stuck with him--or more probably made him stuck--for years.
Does anyone on forums say "Search is your friend" anymore? If you put the word "Parkinsons", into the "Search" box in the above right header on this page, it will be hi-lighted in yellow. There's about a page of threads with "Parkinsons" mentioned.
