Good Morning,
My name is Wendy and I have had wonderful success treating many issues (Interstitial Cystitis, Fibromyalgia, fatigue...) using Dr. Howard Schubiner's program among other tools.
I am writing because of severe knee pain my husband, Tim, is experiencing. A doctor gave a diagnosis and Tim and I are confused as to whether or not his knee is a real physical issue or is it MBS.
My husband, Tim, is 48 years old and has been active his entire life. He is an avid mountain biker and has never experienced knee pain until 9 months ago. We have been in a stressful living sitution and he admits to feeling like he is not doing well providing a home for his family. His knee began hurting one day and has gotten progressively worse.
He went to see an MD this week to hear what they have to say. The doctor said it was broken down or wasting away cartilage and he is not to do anymore exercises with the only cure being surgery down the road. The doctor also said it was 'Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome' or 'Runners Knee'.
Of course, Tim felt pretty discouraged by the doctor's diagnosis as we enjoy doing many things together... biking, hiking and running.
I am so thankful for your advice on this matter.
Sincerely,
Wendy |

Totally agree with tom I've never seen anyone after these type of surgeries stay better There always hurting again somewhere else or worse in the same place after the placebo wears off.
Check out the symptom imperative for instance. |

Eric is right, no one gets better permanently with tese types of medical procedures for knee pain. The only real fix is TMS treatment. Don't subject him to surgery especially at his age. |

you did the right thing. You ruled out anything physical that woiuld create more problems. No tumor, no cancer. You can;t go wrong by choosing to treat your stress differently

Hi Wendy, I was reading an EFT practitioner's blog yesterday. She had scalded her arm with boiling water. Shortly after this her arm felt fine but she felt a stabbing pain in her knee that wouldn't go away. Her hubby, another alternative health practitioner, told her that knee pain was associated with lack of self-worth. She found this to be true in her case upon reflection. From what you say about Tim, he is also experiencing a lack of self worth if he doesn't think he is providing for his family so perhaps he could explore this further. |
