TennisTom

Upon reflection I would like to apologize for all my outbursts to you on the politics and TMS forum. My anger is not about you at all but is something that is resident within me and is not your fault. So, I am sorry for any hurt and harsh words I expressed.

Shawn

Hi Shawn,

No worries mate, I accept your apology and apologize for saying a lot of nasty stuff to you too.

I praise your fortitude in the give and take, and for holding views that you feel passionately about. I feel expressing passion is good for keeping the TMS reservoir from over-flowing, (or helping it to over-flow, depending...).

Unfortuenatley, we live in the age of "Cool", and those with passion are viewed askance, as ranters and ravers--until they make a huge fortune from their passion--become celebrities and role models.

I don't feel too much damage was done from our little flame war. We were able to proselytize for our political platforms, and entertain those who needed entertaining.

For those who have never participated in a good flame, go for it, conflict is a part of life and things can be learned from it also.

Shawn, I've always respected your intellect, writing abilities and appreciation for literature. Although we don't see eye to eye on politics, it's just one aspect of life, there are many other areas we are in agreement on.

Best Wishes,
tt

That is a very courageous thing to admit and say.

Well done!
