Posted - 12/09/2008 : 11:07:26 This article further articulates what Dr. Sarno says about scans, herniated discs, and pain. Basically it says that just because a scan shows that you have an abnormality, it doesn't mean that the abnormality is the cause of your pain.

Posted - 12/10/2008 : 15:21:39 Yes, it was interesting that the Dr. dismissed the torn cartilage as "erroneous" but then embraced the even more nebulous, catch-all "arthritis."

TMS is normal.
