Posted - 11/15/2015 : 09:28:15 Does anybody else suffer from on and off chronic sore throats? I've been to my doctor multiple times and he never finds anything wrong, and finally told me I should stop coming in for these. I've been to an ENT and he can't find anything wrong as well. I'm wondering if this is a TMS symptom. I never used to get them until I had a throat infection a couple years ago. Then when it cleared up, the pain kept returning which makes me wonder if this is another TMS symptom. I also have anxiety which I believe makes the pain worse.

Anxiety is a TMS AFFECTIVE/emotional equivalent. Since you say you've been checked out by docs and they did't find anything, you can pursue the TMS route.

It may also be due to acid reflux. If it's there when you wake in the morning then gets a little better later.
