Tiger Woods had a terrible lie in a bunker at the recent British Open. His first shot trying to get out hit off the bunker, ricocheting back at him forcing him to scurry out of the way. On his next try he had to assume an awkward looking position on both knees. After this shot "he came up limping". I was wondering if he'd hit a great shot to get out of the bunker, would he have still come up limping? I think it may have been an instantaneous TMS attack--I'd bet money on it. It was also interesting after missing another shot badly he said "Oh God, Tiger!", as if dissociating himself from the bad play. It must be tough when you start believing your own press releases.

I remember reading about him having back spasms a few years back. He attributed it to sleeping in the wrong position on his private jet (we should all have such travel difficulties!). What he failed to mention was he had just lost a 3 stroke lead at the tournament he was leading prior to his flight home. I think you are correct in your analysis as I am betting this is not the first time he has experienced TMS.

TT,

MY wife and I were watching that and both of us remarked as he got down in that extremely awkward position, with all his weight on that reconstructed knee, that somewhere his surgeon was probably wincing.

Edit: TRuth in advertising, we assumed it was his bad knee. Not sure of that.

Poor Tiger! He was someone many kids look up to.

Even the Boss is depressed: http://music.yahoo.com/blogs/stop-the-presses/bruce-springsteen-blues-boss-reveals-battles-severe-depression-190620468.html

No, I don't know everything. I'm just here to share my experience.
