Hi,

Just wanting to hear your opinium about something.

why are John Sarno and other TMS therapists very cautious to extrapolate their theories to other auto-imune diseases, such as MS, Lupus, or even cancer? Are they affraid of being ridicularized even more? Is it up to someone else to fight that specific battle? Know anyone that does?

I mean, it would be good for the human kind, to ear that explicitly from certified Doctors.

Thanks,

Filipe

Hi Filipe, I'm not a white-coat but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night. My guess about the Good Doctor would be that he began his medical career as a rehab specialist so primarily saw work related injuries such as bad backs and injuries to limbs and joints. Not having specialized in auto-immune stuff, he did not feel qualified to speak with authority on issues he did not treat first hand. He did speculate that they could be TMS, and that's why it's still TMS theory. Just my opinion as a tennis player with a BA from a state college.

"Just my opinion as a tennis player with a BA from a state college."

And a great opinion it is :)

LOL

Yesterday, I talk about the idea of MS being caused by emotions, and I was fiercely attack by some friends. I think I would have done the same if I haven't heard about TMS, and haven't been through all of this.

I guess in the end, I'm lucky...

Thank you,

Filipe

Filipe, I just read "When the body says no" by Dr. Gabor Mate. It is all about autoimmune diseases and he reaches the same conclusion about the TMS type personality being the primary cause of it. Very interesting.

Hi Filipe
“why are John Sarno and other TMS therapists very cautious to extrapolate their theories to other auto-imune diseases, such as MS, Lupus, or even cancer? Are they affraid of being ridicularized even more?”

Because the suggestion that emotional issues are the sole cause of AI disease, CVD and cancer is complete and total nonsense. There is so much evidence to the contrary that to maintain this view is simply TMS extremism.

I tried for 8 years to treat an "itis" AI disorder with TMS unsuccessfully, the doctors believed it was genetic and my backpain was attributed to it.

Lesson No1: Doctors don't know sh*t....they can simply regurgitate things they learned from a corrupt system that doesn't know sh*t and is only interested in money....sad because most of them really want to help and are good people.

That’s when I became a TMS crackpot myself……because TMS wasn’t working and I felt I needed to immerse myself in the concept even more. This is probably why humans are so retarded and fundamentalist mentality has exploded. Religious, climate, fiscal, medical and political views are far from balanced for the masses despite there being enough signs/results to warrant an open debate on the relevant topic. Ideology, religion and fundamentalism all come from the same roots and that’s a belief. A belief is simply when you refuse to reconsider your thoughts on a matter.

There are many people who refuse to reconsider their thoughts on TMS because they think they have found the “holy grail” and TMS is an answer to everything.
It's not an I’ll include some results that might help you think about it a little more objectively. I cured my own AI problem with diet, I have also helped 2 other people do the same with diet. Dr Mcdougall has cured many people with diet, ( issues, which many people purport to be TMS ) and if you watch this 2 part series you’ll see the research now that suggests bacteria in the gut causes inflammation, and a change in diet fixes it…….which correlates to the results I have experienced and seen.
Is TMS a factor? Probably.…but a factor isn’t a cause and anyone that claims or even suggests TMS is the cause should be dismissed unless they have plenty of hard evidence. No doubt there are cases where people have found relief by using TMS but that doesn’t mean TMS is the ONLY cause, and one needs to be open minded and not simply box everything into TMS. Fundamentalist thinking seems to me, to be related to obsessive thinking….which is TMS in of itself.

We have a world full of experts….everyone has an expert opinion, and you’ll freely get advice on subjects people have zero experience with…….which is all ego driven. Personally I’m a results person…….I look at results only, any muppet can write a book, but few people have the results to back up their claims…..and the funniest part is all the experts then come out and put sh*t on the results anyway…...or even better, simply ignore them.

If you were unknowingly eating loads of fish that came from the coast close to Fukushima, and got cancer because of radiation…..what then?? What about the fact that human breast milk is considered toxic due to all the chemicals (well documented), what about the fact that mercury is 3-4 times higher in the ocean now than before the industrial age??? What about the FACT that most of the food westerns eat is processed fatty garbage......couldn't possibly be the cause of cardiovascular disease, despite the fact Dean Ornish and Caldwell Esselstyn are HEALING people via a plant based diet when they were told to go home an die......by the medical "experts"

We should ignore all of this because all disease must be TMS right…..perhaps one should then journal about how mad they are unconsciously that the postman rides on their grass when delivering mail and everyone would be healed………then we can all go and dance nude with the magical happy fairies in magical happy fairy land.

How do you identify the difference between an environmental, dietary or emotional problem if you’re unaware of all the problems??!! It’s just as stupid as saying all problems with your car can be fixed by a software update despite the fact you don't know of all the factors that cause are car to break down. The Ferrari F1 team have a group of experts from Shell they consult with because just the fuel is that important.....kind of like a human really

Hopefully Sarno and the like are smart enough to know that AI and things like cancer can be extremely destructive to your health and to claim it’s simply emotional whist ignoring other factors is lunacy and moronic to the highest degree……..yet that’s exactly what all ideological believers do. Nothing is black or white until you have all the proven facts……otherwise it’s a belief or speculation. TMS works for the few things we have seen it work for…..if you want to be taken seriously and not perceived negatively when talking to people I would stick to that and not go making wild unsubstantiated claims about TMS based on belief………

I’m just waiting for someone to suggest that the only reason we age is because of TMS, I think everything else has been covered

I am now almost completely healed from one of the worst TMS episodes of my life that lasted just over 12 months...I was really stressed and I had more issues and pain than ever before....not once did my AI issue flare up, despite having it for almost 8 years straight previously.....I did however change my diet, and from that moment I've not had issues with my AI disorder, that was almost 3 years ago.

Oh wait.....must be placebo. That's usually the TMS hardliners response to anything that might challenge their belief.......yeah right

Aging is due to TMS but can be easily reversed by drinking Fosters which creates a great placebo effect after a six pack or two making all the babes at the bar look younger.

This is factual and statements like this are based on well documented trials and observations, there is simply no wiggle room here........
