Bananas are the most radioactive fruit known to man.

You probably already knew that bananas are loaded with potassium. But bananas also happen to be one of the most radioactive foods because they contain the isotope potassium-40. Thanks to this isotope, everyone’s favorite yellow fruit emits a tiny amount of radiation.

Yikes! I would imagine they would be even more radioactive if they are from California, given what is going on in Japan (Fukishima radioactive disaster). I always thought they were so good for you..I enjoyed Shawn's article..but not sure i want to eat anything radioactive!

It may be safe to eat bananas from kali, although I don't think any are grown here, I think they're from Costa Rica, maybe. It's the tarantulas in the bananas that pose the true danger:

Asthma, like most anything else can be a TMS equivalent. My gf had it since childhood and got over it after I brainwashed her with TMS KNOWLEDGE PENICILLIN. She used to use all the meds for it and the Quavar inhaler and now it's gone. Look up asthma in the TMS books and you'll find it as an equivalent. But, like anything else, get checked out if symptoms require it for symptomatic treatment--I'm a tennis player, not a white coat, although I did play against a retired ER doc today.

g'luck!

Thanks Tom..The white coat says I have it..It comes and goes since I lost my parents 25 yrs ago and put on weight. Thankfully I am not that fat anymore! I ate my way into oblivion back then. I had pneumonia and the X rays showed lesions and concavity which could just be the surgery i had for pneumothorax as a 14 yr old kid. So my dr wants to do a non contrast CT scan..(he said, 'at my leisure, no mad rush') So he is not looking for the big C..thank God! but still..not wild about radiating myself with a CAT scan..And the red tape in getting approved for a low dose has been a nightmare so far. Last time I had 'asthma' was a year and a half ago after bronchitis. It only comes at the tail end of a respiratory infection and I never had it as a child. It stinks because although I am not wheezing right now, the tightness and difficulty breathing is awful..I was on Singulair for 2 weeks til my heart was skipping beats so i got off that one fast..And the inhalers cause either blurred vision or heart palpitations..annoying side effects. I hate taking any meds. I am under more stress than even years ago when I lived alone in the middle of nowhere and my 'family' of friends was here..(the over posting days)
