Hi all. Had severe rectal pressure and tightness for many years but finally beat it. Trouble is it came back a few days ago and it's all I can think about. I cured it my basically doing nothing and in time I seemed to forget about it. But I just cannot stop thinking about it now. It's kinda put me back to square 1 again

Your TMS sub-c gremlin, is doing it's job, of protecting you from facing head-on, the emotional issues it doesn't want you to face.

Check the RAHE-HOLMES LIST OF STRESSFUL LIFE EVENTS for what they are:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holmes_and_Rahe_stress_scale

Once you deal with them, they will fade like they did the first time.

Is your cup half-full, or half-empty at this time, emotionally speaking?

I'm emotionally upset because of this pain. I was on holiday last week and felt a twinge. but for some reason I couldn't move past it. I just kept thinking please please don't come back and boom. I just can't move past it or see beyond it at the moment

That's a tautolgical argument. Did you look at the R-H List for the underlying emotional events that are triggering your TMS?
